Pay: 23,000/- to 25,000/- pm

Educational Qualification: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a communications related field) with at least 3 years in the journalism/media field or Masters Degree in mass communications with minimum 1-2 years experience.

Experience: Minimum 1 year employment.

Requirements: Its purpose is to serve the essential communications needs across the ant. The Communications Associate will direct, facilitate and deliver content, using platforms and channels to reach diverse audiences. The primary focus of the position is to:
  1. Increase donor and public engagement on organization programming and its impact through production of key communications resources;
  2. Meet partnership communication requirements through dissemination of periodic organisational reports such as newsletters, annual reports.
  3. Amplify stories from ground via social media, press releases and audio visual documentation;
  4. Lead advocacy campaigns;
  5. Support internal communications processes which support and advance the strategic goal of the the ant, its core values and functions.
  6. Spend at least 25% time in Field visits.

the ant is part of the voluntary sector and is registered as a Public Charitable Trust since October 2000. The ant works in over 1000 villages in Chirang and Udalguri district of Assam Bodoland. 
 
It's work spreads across in the villages in the following thematic areas to promote the rights and development of children, Education, Sports and intercultural exchanges, Empowering women and girls, Community Media Unit, Livelihood, Mental Illness Treatment Alliance (MITA), Capacity building of voluntary sector in the Northeast and Aagor Daagra Afad.
