BTC Forest Guard Recruitment 2024 – 414 Forester/ Forest Guard Posts

 

The Central Selection Board (CSB), Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Kokrajhar, Assam has invited application for the recruitment of 414 Forester-I and Forest Guard posts under Forest Department, BTC. Interested and eligible candidates may apply for these posts.

 

 

No of posts: 84 posts

Age Limit: 18-25 years as on 31.01.2024.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent.

Pay Scale: PB-2, Rs.14000-49000/- + GP Rs.6200/-

No of posts: 330 posts

Age Limit: 18-25 years as on 31.01.2024.

Educational Qualification: HS or equivalent.

Pay Scale: PB-2, Rs.14000-49000/- + GP Rs.5600/-

 

Residentship: Candidates only from BTC area need to apply.

Age Relaxation: The upper age relaxation will be as follows-

i) All the eligible candidates applying for the post as mentioned above need to deposit a Treasury Challan to be paid at the Kokrajhar Treasury Office or IPO for an amount of Rs. 150/- only for General, OBC, and MOBC candidates and Rs. 100/- only for SC and ST candidates.

ii) In the case of the Treasury Challan, the Challan must be paid in favor of the Principal Secretary, BTC, Kokrajhar, payable at the Kokrajhar Treasury Office only under the Head of Account - 8443 Civil Deposit, Personal Deposit, BTC. The challan paid at the Kokrajhar Treasury Office will only be accepted. And in the case of an IPO, it must be paid in favor of the Member Secretary, CSB, Kokrajhar, payable at the Kokrajhar Head Post Office.

 

a) The complete application form duly filled out by the candidates with all testimonials should be submitted to the following address.

b) The last date of application submission is fixed for April 3, 2024, up to 5:00 PM.

c) The candidate must submit the completed application along with testimonials, a contact number or email address, and one envelope (size 23 cm x 10 cm) affixing a postal stamp of Rs. 5 in the envelope, superscribed with the name of the post applied for on the top of the envelope.
