I) Name of Post: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
Subject Wise Vaccancy: English, Hindi, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Computer Science
II) Name of Post: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
Subject Wise Vaccancy: English, Maths, Hindi, Social Science, Sanskrit
III) Name of Post: Primary Teacher, Yoga Instructor, Computer Instructor, Counsellor, Assamese Teacher, Bodo Teacher, Nurse
Eligibility Criteria of KV Kokrajhar Recruitment 2024
Age Limit of KV Kokrajhar Recruitment 2024: Minimum and Maximum age limit shall be 18 and 65 years respectively.
I) PGT all Subjects Except computer Science:
Essential:
i) Two years’ Integrated Post Graduate M. Sc. Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject;
OR
PGT in Master’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects:
a) PGT (English) – English
b) PGT (Hindi)- Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level
c) PGT (Biology) – Botany/ Zoology/ Life Sciences/Bio Sciences/ Genetics/ Micro Biology/Bio Technology/ Molecular Bio/Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.
d) PGT (Maths)-Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics
e) PGT (Chemistry)- Chemistry/ Biochemistry
f) PGT (Physics)–Physics / Electronics/Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics.
ii) B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized university
iii) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.
II) PGT Computer Science:
At-least 50 % marks in aggregate in any of the following;
i) B.E or B. Tech. (Computer Science/IT) from a recognized University or equivalent Degree or Diploma from an institution/ university recognized by the Govt. of India.
OR
B.E or B. Tech. (any stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computers from recognized University.
OR
M. Sc (Computer Science)/ MCA or Equivalent from a recognized University.
OR
B. Sc (Computer Science) / BCA or Equivalent and Post Graduate degree in the subject from a recognized University.
OR
Post Graduate Diploma in Computer and Post Graduate degree in any subject from a recognized University.
OR
‘B’ Level from DOEACC and Post Graduate degree in any subject.
OR
‘C’ Level from ‘DOEACC’ Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and Graduation.
ii) Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
III) TGT All Subjects:
Essential:
i) Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate.
The electives subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects as under :
a) For TGT (Hindi): Hindi as a subject in all the three years.
b) For TGT (English) : English as a subject in all the three years.
c) For TGT (S.St) :Any two of the following: History, Geography, Economics and Pol. Science of which one must be either History or Geography.
d) For TGT (Maths) – Bachelor Degree in Maths with any two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, Computer Science, Statistics.
e) For TGT (Sanskrit)- Sanskrit as a subject in all the three years.
ii) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
iii) Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English medium.
Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.
IV) PRT:
Essential:
i) Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El. Ed)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.)
ii) Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by the Govt. of India.
iii) Proficiency to teach through Hindi & English medium.
Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications.
V) Yoga Instructor:
Essential:
i) Graduation in any subject or equivalent from a recognized university
ii) One-year training in Yoga from a recognized Institution
VI) Computer Instructor:
Essential:
i) B.E/B.Tech /MCA/BCA/M.Sc. (Computer Science)/ M.Sc. (Electronics with computer Science)/M.Sc. (IT)/BSc (Computer Science)
OR
Bachelors/Master Degree in any Science subject /Mathematics with PG diploma in Computer Application.
OR
PG in any subject with PGDCA from Govt. recognized University/’O’ level from DOEACC.
OR
PG in any subject with minimum ‘A’ level from DOEACC.
VII) Councellor:
Essential:
i) B.A/B.Sc. (Psychology) with Certificate of Diploma in Counseling
Desirable: Minimum of One Year Experience in Providing Career/Educational Counselling to students at schools
OR
Working knowledge and experience in Placement Bureaus
OR
Registration with rehabilitation Council of India as Vocational Counsellor.
VIII) Bodo/ Assamese Teacher:
Essential:
i) Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the subject concerned with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
OR
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the subjects concerned / combination of subjects and in aggregate.
The elective subjects and Languages in the combination of subjects are as hereunder:
a) For Bodo Language Teacher: Bodo as a subject in all the three years.
b) For Assamese Language Teacher: Assamese as a subject in all the three years.
ii) B.Ed. or equivalent degree from a recognized university
iii) Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose. (Relaxations as per KVS Rules)
Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications.
IX) Staff Nurse:
Essential:
i) Three-year Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery or B.Sc. in nursing from recognized institution.
