I) Name of Post: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
Subject Wise Vaccancy: English, Hindi, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Commerce, Economics, History, Geography, Political Science, BaPhysiology, Computer Science
II) Name of Post: Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
Subject Wise Vaccancy: Sanskrit, Hindi, English, Social Studies, Maths, Science
III) Name of Post: Primary Teacher (PRT), Balvatika, Computer Instructor
IV) Name of Post: Special Educator, Yoga Teacher, Music/ Dance Coach, Sports Coach, Nurse, Counselor
Eligibility Criteria of KV Jorhat Recruitment 2024
I) PGT all Subjects Except computer Science:
Essential Qualification:
1. Two years’ Integrated Master Degree from a recognized University with atleast 50% marks in aggregate in the following subjects:
a. PGT (English)- English
b. PGT (Hindi) – Hindi or Sanskrit with Hindi as one of the subjects at Graduate level.
c. PGT (Maths)- Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics.
d. PGT (Physics)–Physics / Electronics/Applied Physics/ Nuclear Physics.
e. PGT (Chemistry)- Chemistry/ Bio. Chem.
f. PGT (Biology) – Botany/Zoology/Life Sciences/Bio Sciences/Genetics/Micro Biology/Bio Technology/Molecular Bio/Plant Physiology provided they have studied Botany and Zoology at Graduation level.
g. PGT (Commerce) – Master’s Degree in Commerce. However, holder of Degrees of M.Com in Applied/Business Economics shall not be eligible.
h. PGT (Economics) – Economics/ Applied Economics/ Business Economics.
i. PGT (History)
j. PGT(Geography)
k. PGT(Political Science)
l. PGT(Psychology)
2. B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized university
3. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English media.
Desirable: Knowledge of computer applications
II) PGT Computer Science:
Essential Qualification:
At-least 50 % marks in aggregate in any of the following;
1. B.E or B. Tech. (Computer Science/IT) from a recognized University or equivalent Degree or Diploma from an institution/ university recognized by the Govt. of India.
OR
B.E or B. Tech. (any stream) and Post Graduate Diploma in Computers from recognized University.
OR
M.Sc (Computer Science)/ MCA or Equivalent from a recognized University.
OR
B.Sc (Computer Science) / BCA or Equivalent and Post Graduate degree in subject from a recognized University.
OR
Post Graduate Diploma in Computer and Post Graduate degree in any subject from recognized University.
OR
‘B’ Level from DOEACC and Post Graduate degree in any subject.
OR
‘C’ Level from ‘DOEACC’ Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and Graduation.
Desirable: Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English.
III) Primary Teacher (PRT):
Essential Qualification:
1. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2- year Diploma in Education (D.Ed/D.El.Ed)
2. Qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper-I) conducted by the Govt. of India.
3. Proficiency to teach through Hindi & English medium.
Desirable: Knowledge of working on Computer.
IV) Balvatika:
1. Senior secondary class XII or its equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% marks.
2. Diploma in NTE/Pre-School Education/D.E.C.Ed. of duration of not less than 2 years or B.Ed(Nursery) from NCTE recognized institution.
V) Computer Instructor:
1. BE/B Tech ( computer Science), BCA/MCA/M.Sc( Computer Science )
OR
Bachelor/ Master Degree in any science subject/ Mathematics from recognized university with Post graduation diploma in computer application from Government Recognized University/ Institute
OR
Post Graduate Degree in any subject with Post graduation diploma in computer application from Government Recognized University “O” Level from DOEACC
OR
Post Graduate Degree in any subject with minimum “A” Level from DOEACC
VI) Special Educator:
1. 12th/Graduation with two year D.Ed Special Education/B.Ed in special Education in any of the category of disability
OR
any other equivalent Qualification approved by RC
VII) Yoga Teacher:
1. Graduation in any subject or equivalent from recognized university.
2. One year training in Yoga from a recognized institution.
VIII) Music/Dance Coach:
Essential Qualification:
1. Bachelor degree in Music or equivalent from a recognized University.
2. Competence to teach through English/Hindi Medium.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of computer application.
- Knowledge of musical instruments
IX) Sports Coach:
1. Bachelor degree in Physical Education or equivalent with specialization in Football, Kabaddi, Badminton.TT, Athletics,Basketball or Volleyball etc.
2. Represented at National Level/.Inter University level.
3. Any equivalent coaching experience of recognized institution.
X) Nurse:
1. Degree/Diploma in nursing from recognized institute/Registered University with MCI or Nursing Council of India also with BLS (Basic life support) Course
XI) Councellor:
Essential Qualification:
1. BA/BSc (Psychology) with certificate of diploma in counseling.
Desirable:
1. Minimum of one year experience in providing career/educational counseling to students at school
OR
working knowledge and experience in placement bureaus
OR
Registration with rehabilitation council of India as vocational counselor.
