Eligibility Criteria of GMC Guwahati Recruitment 2024
Essential Qualification: The candidates must be registered under Assam Council of Medical Registration or Medical Council of India / National Medical Commission.

Educational Qualification:
a) Paediatric Oncology (in order of preference):
i. DM/DNB in Paediatric Oncology
ii. MD in Paediatrics with 2 years Fellowship in Paediatric Oncology
iii. MD in Paediatrics with 1 year Fellowship in Paediatric Oncology
iv. MD/DNB in Paediatrics from recognized Medical College/ Institute with 3 years working experience in a Cancer Care Institute/Hospital, Preferably in a Teaching Cancer Institute.
b) Surgical Oncology: MCH/DNB in Surgical Oncology
c) Medical Oncology: DM/DNB in Medical Oncology.
d) Nuclear Medicine: MD/DNB in Nuclear Medicine.
e) Onco-Anaesthesiology (in order of preference):
i. DM/DNB in Onco-Anaesthesiology
ii. MD in Anaesthesiology with 2 years Fellowship in Onco-Anaesthesiology
iii. MD in Anaesthesiology with 1 year Fellowship in Onco-Anaesthesiology
iv. MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology from recognized Medical College/ Institute
with 3 years working experience in a Cancer Institute/Hospital, Preferably in a Teaching Cancer Institute.
f) Onco-Pathology (in order of preference):
i. DM/DNB in Onco-Pathology
ii. MD in Pathology with 2 years Fellowship in Onco- Pathology
iii. MD in Pathology with 1 year Fellowship in Onco- Pathology
iv. MD/DNB in Pathology from recognized Medical College/ Institute with 3 years working experience in a Cancer Institute/Hospital, Preferably in a Teaching Cancer Institute.
Age Limit: A candidate should not be less than 21 Years and more than 50 Years as on 01/01/2024, irrespective of category of applicants
The upper age limit is relaxable by (if applicable): For Persons with Disabilities (PWD) by 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and General Category of candidates as per Govt. Notification No.ABP.144/ 95/121 dated 28/10/2015.
How to Apply for GMC Guwahati Recruitment 2024?
The Eligible and interested candidates are requested to Appear a walk in interview which will be held on 7th March, 2024 at Office of the Medical and Health Recruitment Board, Assam, Six Mile, Khanapara, Guwahati- 781022. From 10.30 AM onwards.
The candidates have to produce the original documents for verification, at the time of scrutiny of documents, which are given below:
- Application Form.
- Three copies of Passport size Photograph.
- Age proof – Admit card of HSLC exam.
- Mark sheets and Pass certificates of HSLC, HS, MBBS, MD, DNB, DM, M.CH etc.
- Additional Qualification, if any
- Persons with Disability certificate, as applicable.
- Assam Council of Medical Registration/ Medical Council of India / National
- Medical Commission Certificate,
- Photo identity proof (PAN Card/Passport/Voter ID Card/Driving License).
- Caste Certificate, if required.
- Experience Certificate, if any.
Two sets of self attested xerox copies of the documents as mentioned above must be submitted at the time of verification.
