Guwahati Metropolitan Drinking Water & Sewerage Board (GMDW&SB) was established as a single organization responsible for the recruitment of 3 Contract Management & Procurement Specialist, Environmental Specialist and Procurement Executive Posts purely on contractual basis to be engaged under Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of South East Guwahati Water Supply Project (SEGWSP). GMDWSB Assam Recruitment 2024 Full Details
1. Contract Management & Procurement Specialist
No of posts: 01 post
Remuneration range: Rs 1.00 lakh to 1.50 lakh per month.
Eligibility Criteria:
i) Full time B.E./B.Tech in Civil/Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University or AICTE affiliated Institution with a professional diploma/degree/certification in Public Procurement.
ii) Or, Full time Master degree in any discipline (Engineering, Public Procurement, Finance, Business or Commerce) from a recognized University or AICTE affiliated Institution and having experience in procurement norms of the funding agencies like World Bank/Asian Development Bank/National Development Bank for externally aided project.
iii) Minimum 08 years of experience in procurement and contract management for the above. Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement and contract management is required for candidates having no professional diploma/degree/certification in Public Procurement
iv) Candidates having experience in procurement and contract management in any externally aided project shall be given preference.
Age Limit: 60 years.
2. Environmental Specialist
No of posts: 01 post
Remuneration range: Rs 0.50 lakh to Rs 1.00 lakh per month.
Eligibility Criteria:
i) Full time Masters/post Graduate Degree in Environment Engineering/ Environmental Science/ Environmental Planning or any relevant discipline from a recognized University or AICTE affiliated Institution.
ii) Or, full time Graduate in Civil Engineering with post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Science or any relevant discipline is a must from a recognized University or AICTE affiliated Institution.
iii) Minimum 08 years of professional experience as Environmental Expert. Working Experience in externally aided projects will be given preference.
Age Limit: 60 years.
3. Procurement Executive
No of posts: 01 post
Remuneration range: Rs 0.50 lakh to Rs 0.80 lakh per month.
Eligibility Criteria:
i) Full time graduate in Engineering/Commerce from a recognized University with certification in Certificate Program in Public Procurement (CPPP).
ii) Atleast 03 (three) years of experience in handling procurement related functions and in financial management. Having experiences in any externally aided project (EAP) shall be given preference.
Age Limit: 60 years.
