Eligibility Criteria of SBI PO Recruitment
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government as of 30th April 2025.
Final Year Students: Candidates in the final year or semester of their graduation are eligible to apply provisionally. However, they must provide proof of passing the graduation examination on or before 30th April 2025 if called for the interview.
Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 30 years of age as of 30th April 2025. They should have been born no earlier than 2nd April 1994 and no later than 1st April 2003 (both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, 5 years for ST candidates, and 10 years for PwD candidates. Candidates are advised to refer to the official notification for detailed information.
Application Fee: The application fee is NIL for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/Ex-servicemen/PwBD categories, while it is ₹750/- for General/OBC/EWS candidates. The fee can be paid online using a Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI through the payment gateway.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the SBI Career website https://bank.sbi/careers or https://www.sbi.co.in/careers starting from 27 December 2024. To apply online they may follow below mentioned steps.
a) Scroll down, go to Important Web-Links section.
b) Click on Online Application Form link.
c) A new webpage will be opened.
d) Enter all your personal and educational details as required.
e) Upload your passport sized photograph and signature and other required documents.
f) Pay the application fee as per your category and at the end click on submit button.
g) Don't forget to take a print of submitted application form.

Selection Process of SBI PO Recruitment
The selection for Probationary Officers will be done through a three phase process. All stages are as mentioned below:
Preliminary Examination (Phase I):
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Test for 100 marks will be conducted online. The test will have of 3 Sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows:
Main Examination (Phase II):
Main Examination will be conducted online and will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks. The Descriptive Test will be administered immediately after conclusion of the Objective Test and candidates will have to type their Descriptive Test answers on the computer.
Objective Test: The duration of objective test is 3 hours and it consists of 4 Sections of total 200 marks. There will be separate timing for every section.
Descriptive Test: The duration of Descriptive Test is 30 minutes. It will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) with two questions for total 50 marks.
Interview (Phase III):
The Bank may conduct a Psychometric test for personality profiling, of those candidates who will be shortlisted for Phase III. The finding of the test may be placed before the Interview panel for having a thorough perspective on the candidates.
The 3rd Phase may comprise of Interview (30 marks) & Group Exercises (20 marks).
Candidates will have to score minimum qualifying marks in Phase-III to be considered for final selection. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.
