AAU ODL Admission 2024
Directorate of Open & Distance Learning, Assam Agricultural University (AAU-ODL) has released the official admission notification for various short-term training and certificate courses to be started from December 2024. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online at AAU-ODL official website from 5th November 2024 to 25th November, 2024 for these courses.
The proposed online programmes of AAU covering a wide range of diploma, certificate and short courses are expected to make the career of the learners and the professionals better. The courses are designed in such a way that these can cater to the needs of a wide spectrum of aspiring learners including farmers, entrepreneurs, rural women as well as unemployed youths. The ODL courses will provide knowledge, skill and employment opportunities to all sections of the society as per their need and expectations.

The Directorate of Open and Distance Learning, Assam Agricultural University (AAU-ODL) is currently providing 2 different types of courses:
i) Short-Term Training

AAU ODL Course Structure
The salient features of various AAU ODL Courses are as mentioned below.
a) Classes for each course will be conducted through online. (Google Meet, other meeting app)
b) Each course will be conducted under the supervision of a Course Director.
c) For each course, the registered learners will have to undergo in-campus practical training for at least 3-7 days for short-term training course and 10 days for certificate course, preferably towards the end of the course.
d) Self Learning Material (SLM) will be provided to the learners.
e) At the end of the course certificate will be provided to the learners. It is mandatory to attend the Hand on / Practical Training in selected campus of Assam Agricultural University
AAU ODL Admission 2024 Fees:
- Short-term training: 110/-
- Certificate Course: 210/-
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of eligibility criteria as mentioned earlier. List of Shortlisted Candidates will be published on the website odl.aau.ac.in. For final selection the shortlisted candidates need to pay the admission/course fees through online. The link for admission will be shared after publication of shortlisted candidate list.
How to Apply for AAU ODL Admission ?
Interested and eligible candidates may apply online for these courses by visiting official AAU-ODL Application Portal. Candidates may follow below mentioned steps to apply online.
a) Scroll down, go to Important Web-Links section.
b) Click on the "Online Application Form".
c) A Google form will appear and you must login to Gmail Account to Apply.
d) Fill your all personal and educational details and upload necessary documents.
e) Make payment of application fee as per your category and submit the form.
f) At the end, take a print out of the application form for your reference.
Shortlisted candidate list will be published at official AAU-ODL website. They have to pay the admission fee separately through online mode link of which will be shared later on.
