State Project Management Unit, Mission Shakti under the Directorate of Women and Child Development (WCD), Assam has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 315 posts under “Shakti Sadan” for various districts under Women and Child Development (WCD) Department, Assam. Shakti Sadan under Mission Shakti
1. Resident Superintendent
No of posts: 35 posts
Educational Qualification & Experience: Any woman having a Masters in Law/ Social Work/ Sociology/Social Science/Psychology with at least 5 years" experience of working on women related relevant domains in an administrative set-up with a Government or Non-Government project/ programme and preferably with at least 1-year experience of counselling either within or outside the same set-up.
Candidate should be preferably a resident of the local community so that local human resource and expertise is utlised for effective functioning of the centre.
2. Office Assistant
No of posts: 35 posts
Educational Qualification & Experience: Any person who is a graduate with a minimum of 3- years' experience in handling office documentation related job with proficiency in working on computers, at state or district level with government or Non Governmental organizations.
3. Multi-purpose Staff
No of posts: 70 posts
Educational Qualification & Experience: Any person who is literate with knowledge /experience of working in the relevant domain. High School pass or equivalent will be preferred.
4. Cook
No of posts: 70 posts
Educational Qualification & Experience: Any person who is literate with knowledge /experience of working in the relevant domain. High School pass or equivalent will be preferred.
5. Security Guard/ Night Guard
No of posts: 105 posts
Educational Qualification & Experience: Any person having at least 2 years" experience of working as security personnel in a government or reputed organization at the district/ state level. He/ she should preferably be retired military/ para-military personnel.
One Stop Centre under Mission Shakti
6. Centre Administrator
No of posts: 27 posts
Educational Qualification & Experience:
a) Any Women having Masters in Law/ Social Work/ Sociology/Social Science/ Psychology with at least 5 years experience of working on women related relevant domains in an administrative set-up with a Government or Non-Government project/ programme and preferably with at least 1 year experience of counselling either within or outside the same set-up.
b) For existing staff 3 years experience will be preferred.
c) She Should be preferably a resident of local Community so that local human resource and expertise is utilized for effective functioning of the center.
7. Case Worker
No of posts: 60 posts
Educational Qualification & Experience:
a) Any Women having a Bachelor in Law/- Social Work/ Sociology/ Social Science/ Psychology with at least 3 years experience of working on women related relevant domains in a Government or Non-Government project/ programme.
b) She Should be preferably a resident of local Community so that local human resource and expertise is utilized for effective functioning of the center.
8. Counsellor
No of posts: 35 posts
Educational Qualification & Experience: Any Women having professional degree/ diploma in psychology/ psychiatry/ neurosciences with a back ground of health sector and preferably with at least 3 experience of working of working within a government or Non-government health project/ programme at district level.
9. Office Assistant
No of posts: 28 posts
Educational Qualification & Experience: Any Graduate with at least Diploma in computers/ IT etc. with a minimum of 3 years experience in data management, process documentation and web-based reporting formats, video conferencing at state or district level with Government or Non- Government / IT-based organizations.
10. Multi Purpose Staff/ Cook (MPW)
No of posts: 94 posts
Educational Qualification & Experience: Any Women who is literate with knowledge/ experience of working in the relevant domain. High School pass or equivalent will be preferred. However it would not be applicable for candidates having working experience at One Stop Centre.
11. Security Guard/ Night Guard
No of posts: 99 posts
Educational Qualification & Experience: Any person having 2 years experience of working as security personnel in a Government or reputed organization at the district/ state level. He/she should preferably be retired military / para-military personnel.
Eligibility Criteria of Women and Child Development Recruitment
Age Limit:
Shakti Sadan under Mission Shakti: The candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years of age as on 01.01.2022.
One Stop Centre under Mission Shakti: The candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 38 years of age as on 01.01.2024.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
- SC: 5 years
- STP/ STH: 5 years
Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
