1. Professor
No of posts: 09 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 1,44,200 - 2,18,200/-
Eligibility Criteria: As per UGC Regulations .
2. Associate Professor
No of posts: 10 posts
Pay Scale: Rs. 1,31,400 - 2,17,100/-
Eligibility Criteria: As per UGC Regulations.
3. Assistant Professor
No of posts: 13 posts
Pay Scale: Rs.57,700 - 1,82,400/-
Eligibility Criteria: As per UGC Regulations .
4. Lower Division Assistant (LDA)
No of posts: 01 post [UR]
Pay Scale: Rs. 14,000-49,000 + GP 6,200/-
Eligibility Criteria:
i) Graduation in any discipline from any recognized University, preferably in Computer Application
ii) Desirable: Two years experience of working in any higher educational institution.
5. Library Book Arranger (LBA)
No of posts: 02 posts [UR, OBC]
Pay Scale: Rs. 14,000-49,000 + GP 6,200/-
Eligibility Criteria:
i) Graduation in any discipline from any recognized University.
ii) 6 (six) Months Computer Application certificate from any recognised institution.
iii) Desirable: Two years experience of working in a Library of any higher educational institution.
6. Laboratory Bearer
No of posts: 01 post [UR]
Pay Scale: Rs. 12,000-37,500 + GP 4,400/-
Eligibility Criteria:
i) Must be Class-VIII Passed and not above Class-XII (HSSLC).
ii) Must have knowledge in operating Photocopier Machine.
iii) Desirable: 2 (Two) years experience in handling laboratory equipments and computers in higher education institutions.
7. Peon
No of posts: 04 posts [STP, STH, SC, EWS]
Pay Scale: Rs. 12,000-37,500 + GP 4,400/-
Eligibility Criteria:
i) Must be Class-VIII Passed and not above Class-XII (HSSLC).
ii) Must be physically fit with sound health to send documents/ files to various Offices within the University as well as outside the campus, etc.
iii) Must have knowledge in operating Photocopier Machine.
iv) Must know driving (both two-wheeler and four-wheeler).
Age Limit (Posts 4 to 7): Applicants should not be above 40 years for UR, 42 years for OBC/MOBC and 43 years for SC/ST for as on 01.07.2023. The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of date of birth available in the Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card or Pass Certificate issued by a recognized Central/State Board/Council and no other document shall be accepted in lieu of the mentioned documents.

Other Criteria of KBVSAS University Recruitment
Residentship: The applicant must be a citizen of India.
Medical Fitness: He/She must be medically fit both in mind and in body – a certificate duly signed by the District Medical Officer or Registered Medical Officer of Govt. of Assam, shall have to be produced by any person who has been appointed as Assistant Professor, before/she is allowed to join.
Character Certificate: A certificate about good character from the Head of the Institution last attended or served shall ordinarily accompany an application for any post of Assistant Professor if he/she is not already in service.
Application Fee
Posts 1 to 3: Application processing FEES of Rs.2000/-(Rupees Two Thousand) only to be paid by the UR category applicant and reserved category applicants need to pay Rs.1000/- (Rupees One Thousand) only of the above specified amount. The application fees are non-refundable.
Posts 4 to 7: Application processing fees of Rs. 500/-(Rupees five hundred) only to be paid by the UR category applicant and reserved category applicants need to pay Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty) only of the above specified amount. The application fees are non-refundable.
