1. Junior Assistant cum Typist (JAT)
No of posts: 50 posts
Category-wise vacancy:
- UR: 19
- SC: 8
- ST: 4
- OBC: 14
- EWS: 5
Pay Matrix: Level 02 of 7th CPC (19900-63200)
Essential Qualification:
(i) 10+2 or equivalent
(ii) Typing test with a speed of 40 w.p.m. in English or 35 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer.
Desirable: A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university .
2. Stenographer
No of posts: 52 posts
Category-wise vacancy:
- UR: 23
- SC: 7
- ST: 3
- OBC: 14
- EWS: 5
Pay Matrix: Level 04 of 7th CPC (25500-81100)
Essential Qualification:
(i) 10+2 or equivalent
(ii) typing test with a speed of 40 w.p.m. in English or 35 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer and
(iii) Shorthand Test @ 80 w.p.m.
Desirable:
a) A bachelor’s degree from a recognized university
b) Knowledge of Computers.
Eligibility Criteria of IGNOU Recruitment
Age Limit:
a) Junior Assistant: Candidates age must be between 18 to 27 years as on 21st December 2023.
b) Stenographer: Candidates age must be between 18 to 30 years as on 21st December 2023.
Age Relaxation: Category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
- SC: 5 years
- ST: 5 years
- OBC/ NCL: 3 years
- PWBD: 10 years
- PWBD + OBC(NCL): 13 years
- PWBD + SC/ST: 15 years
Application Fee: The category-wise application fee for various categories are as mentioned below.
- UR, OBC (NCL): Rs 1000/-
- SC, ST, Female & EWS: Rs.600/-
- PwBD: Nil
