Pragyan Bharati Scooty Scheme: Pragyan Bharati Scheme is a Assam Government scheme under which meritorious girls students who passed Higher Secondary (HS) final examination with 1st Division (60%) will receive electric or petrol based scooty. Govt. of Assam has activated the online portal of Pragyan Bharati Scheme for application to receive scooty. Candidates can apply online by visiting sebaonline.org .

Eligibility: Girl students who have secured 60% or above and boy students who have secured 75% or above in Higher Secondary Examination 2023 under AHSEC.

Distribution Date of Award: From 30th November 2023 (Tentative).
Note: As per recent reports, 29,748 girl student and 6,052 boy students will receive Scooty under this Scooty Scheme. Also, here we want to mentioned that the registration of Scooty need to be done by student individually.
Assam Scooty Scheme Status
After the status check facility is available, the status of scooter delivery for each candidate can be checked on the same official portal. The registration fee (RTO fee) is to be borne by the families of the beneficiary students themselves. Each Scooty costs around Rs. 50000-55000 to the government.
Eligibility Criteria of Pragyan Bharati
Candidates need to have following criteria to recieve scooty under Pragyan Bharati Scheme:
- Candidate should be a permanent resident of Assam State.
- The candidate should get first class in Class 12 Government School Examination of Assam State.
- Applicant should study in a government school in Assam.
Pragyan Bharati 2023 Application Form
To apply for Pragyan Bharati Scheme 2023, candidates must apply online. For this purpose SEBA has developed an online portal at which candidates must apply.
District Wise Distribution Schedule
The government of Assam has notified that the distribution process of scooters will start from 30th November 2023. In the first phase, the awards will be distributed to the students of the Kamrup and Kamrup (Metro) districts of Assam. In this section, we will update the distribution dates of all the districts gradually after the official announcements.
Note: Students of the Nalbari, Darrang, Nagaon and Morigaon districts will get award letters only on that day. The actual date of delivery of the scooters will be notified later and will be updated here accordingly.
How to apply Pragyan Bharati Scooty Scheme
Here is the basic steps to apply for Pragyan Bharati 2023:
a) The website may be visited directly on http://sebaonline.org/choiceofscooty
b) Students have to login to the system using their Roll No. as User ID and Registration No. as password.
c) The details of the students like Candidate Name, Father's Name, District, Institution name where studied last, Total Marks will be available from the result data.
d) There will be two types of Scooty ( e.g Electrically operated and Petrol operated) and the students have to mark their choice of variant within 10 days of publish.
e) Students has to provide their Address for communication along with Mobile No. and email id (if available).
f) On submitting the request online, student will get an acknowledgement slip for the same.

Note:

- Download and take a print out of the Acknowledgement Receipt and keep it for future reference.
- If any student does not mark her selection about the variant of the scooty within the stipulated time frame then her selection will be considered for Petrol variant automatically.
