Location: Bhuyanpara & Kokilabari, Baksa (close to Manas National Park)
Job Responsibilities:
◾ Planning, Management and Administration of project activities on Conservation based livelihood around protected areas specially in Manas Landscape.
◾ Providing, applying and adapting strategic and rationally planned frameworks for species and habitat conservation ensuring regular reviews and adaptive as per requirement of the project. Timely Reporting to the HOD .
◾ Communication with HOD, Seniors, Juniors & Stakeholders.
◾ Preparing detailed planning with the consultation of the reporting seniors and update progress on the activities regularly .
◾ Preparing proposals for donors or government assisted programmes.
◾ Provide support to FPC/Cooperative in strengthening organizational capacity building.
Educational Qualification:
◾ Master’s degree in Social works, Livelihood, Geography, Developmental studies, Women studies, Agriculture and having experiences of working livelihood sector.
◾ Knowledge of environmental issues like people dependency on forest resources.
Experience:
◾ 4 to 5 years in the Field of Conservation and Livelihood.
◾ Working with Community.
◾ Basic knowledge/hands on expertise on GPS, Google Earth or other GIS tools.
◾ Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
◾ Leading & managing team of supporting colleagues.
◾ The Candidate should be able to drive two-wheeler or 4 wheeler
Age Limit: Below 35 years .
Honorarium: Negotiable with working knowledge, experience and qualification.
Tenure: Annual (Initial term is for three years possibility of long-term engagement, however it is based on the annual performance).
