Educational Qualification:
i) Level 9A: B.E./B. Tech./B.S. (4-year Degree course) in relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent.
ii) Level 10: Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in relevant disciplines with First Class in either of the two at the time of application.

Educational Qualification:
i) Level 9A: Master’s degree in appropriate subject with First class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
ii) Level 10: A Master’s degree with First Class or equivalent in a relevant subject and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET.
3. Senior Instructor

Educational Qualification: 3 (Three) years Diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology/Textile/Architecture from AICTE recognized Institutes with First Class or 60% of marks.
4. Librarian
No of posts: 21 posts [Engg College: 3, Government Polytechnics: 18]
Educational Qualification:
i) Master’s Degree in Library Science/Information Science/ Documentation Science or an Equivalent Professional Degree with at least First Class or equivalent and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library.
ii) Qualifying in the National Level Test conducted for the purpose by UGC or other equivalent test as approved by the UGC.
Eligibility Criteria of AESRB Recruitment
Resident-ship: Candidates must be permanent residents of Assam having Indian Citizenship as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.
Age Limit:
i) Lecturer (Technical & Non-Tech): The candidate should not be less than 21 years of age and more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2024.
ii) Senior Instructor: The candidate should not be less than 21 years of age and more than 40 years of age as on 01-01-2024.
iii) Librarian: The candidate should not be less than 21 years of age and more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2024.
Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
◾ SC/STP/STH: By 5 (five) years.
◾ OBC/ MOBC: By 3 (three) years.
◾ PwD: By 10 (ten) years.
