Eligibility Criteria of Assam Rifles Recruitment:

 

Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation for OBC is 3 years and SC/ST is 5 years respectively.

 

Educational Qualification & Age Limit: Post-wise Educational Qualification & Age Limit is as mentioned below.

Radio Mechanic (RM)	18 to 25 years	10th pass from a recognized board with diploma in Radio and Television Technology or Electronics or Telecommunication or Computer or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Domestic appliances from any institution recognized by the Central Government or the State Government OR 12th Standard or intermediate or equivalent with aggregate marks of 6fty percent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board or University or institution
Lineman Field	18 to 23 years	10th class pass from a recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute certificate in Electrician trade from a recognized Institute
Engineer Equipment Mechanic	18 to 23 years	10th class pass from a recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute certificate in Engineer Equipment Mechanic trade from a recognized institute.
Electrician Mechanic Vehicle	18 to 23 years	10th class pass from a recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute certificate in Motor Mechanic trade from a recognized Institute.
Recovery Vehicle Mechanic	18 to 23 years	10th class pass and Industrial Training Institute (ITU) certificate in Recovery Vehicle Mechanic or Recovery Vehicle Operator from a recognized Board or University.
Upholster	18 to 23 years	10th class pass from a recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute certificate in Upholster trade from a recognized institute
Vehicle Mechanic fitter	18 to 23 years	10th class pass with English, Mathematics and Science and Diploma/ITI certificate from recognized institute.
Draughtsman	18 to 25 years	i) 10+2 Pass or equivalent from a recognized board ii) Three years diploma in Architectural Assistantship from any recognized Polytechnic College or institution.
Electrical & Mechanical	18 to 30 years	Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Mechanical or Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.
Plumber	18 to 23 years	10th class pass from a recognized Board with Industrial Training institute certificate in Plumber trade from a recognized Institute.
Operation Theatre Technician	18 to 23 years	10+2 pass with diploma in Operation Theater Technician from a recognized board or university.
Pharmacist	20 to 25 years	i)10+2 or equivalent. ii) Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy from any recognized institution of the Central or a State Government for which the period of training in two years followed by an internship of which the practical training shall not be less than five hundred hours spread over a period of not less than three months, provided that not less than two hundred and fifty hours are devoted to actual dispensing of prescriptions. iii) Processing the qualifications under Section 31 and 32 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948 and registered under Section 33 of the said Act.
X-Ray Assistant	18 to 23 years	10+2 pass with diploma in Radiology from a recognized Board or University.
Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA)	21 to 23 years	10+2 pass with two years diploma certificate in veterinary science form recognized University/Institute with one year experience in Veterinary field.
Safai	18 to 23 years	10th class pass from a recognized Board.

 

Application Fee

a) For Group B posts (i.e Religious Teacher and Electrical & Mechanical only) application fee is Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only) and for Group C posts (i.e except  Religious Teacher and electrical and Mechanical) application fee is Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only).

b) The fee will be deposited online by the candidates into SBI Current account No 3708046712 in Favor of HQ DGAR, Recruitment Branch, Shillong-10, at SBI Laitkor Branch IFSC Code SBIN0013883.

c) No Fee is charged from candidates belonging to Schedule cast, Schedule Tribe, Female and Ex-servicemen candidates.
