State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB), Assam has already conducted the Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Trade Proficiency Test (TPT) and Written Test (CWT 2025) for the recruitment of various posts in the cadre of Constable, Sub-Inspector and others under Assam Police, APRO, Assam Commando Battalions, DGCD & CGHG, Prison Department and Directorate of Forensic Science.
The PST and PET for Constable posts were conducted during September 2024 / November 2024. Similarly the Written Test (CWT 2025) for Sub-Inspector posts was conducted on 5th January 2025.

Following is the official/ tentative schedule for announcement of result for various posts under Assam Police and other organisation.
a) As on 4th March 2025, the result of PST/ PET for the recruitment of 686 Driver Constable and other posts under Assam Police and APRO declared by SLPRB.
b) Similarly, the result of the Written Test (CWT-2025) for Sub-Inspector posts will declared at 11 A.M. of 06-03-2025.
CWT 2025 was conducted for:
(I) 144 posts of Sub Inspector (UB) in Assam Police,
(II) 7 posts of Sub Inspector of Police (Communication) in APRO,
(III) 51 posts of Sub Inspector (AB) for Assam Commando Battalions &
(IV) 1 post of Assistant Deputy Controller, Civil Defence (Jr.) under DGCD & CGHG, Assam.
c) The result of the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for various Constable posts will declared at 11 A.M. of 12-03-2025. PET was held for following posts:
i) 1645 posts of Constable (UB), 2300 posts of constables (AB) in Assam Police & 1 post of Constable (UB) in APRO in pursuance of Advertisement issued on 06-10-2023.
ii) 114 posts of Constable (UB) and 1 post of constables (AB) backlog posts for Hills Tribe category in Assam Police in pursuance of Advertisement issued on 06-10-2023.
iii) 58 posts of Boatman in Assam Police in pursuance of Advertisement issued on 06-10-2023.
iv) 204 posts of Constable of Police (Communication) & 2 posts of Constable (Carpenter) in APRO in pursuance of Advertisement issued on dated: 06-10-2023.
v) 262 posts of Constable of Police (Communication) & 3 posts of Constable (Carpenter) in APRO and 1 post of Sub-Officer & 39 posts of Emergency Rescuer under Fire & Emergency Services, Assam in pursuance of Advertisement issued on 07-02-2023.
vi) 269 posts of Constable (Grade-III) under DGCD & CGHG, Assam in pursuance of Advertisement issued on 25-01-2024.
vii) 5 posts of Havildar under DGCD & CGHG, Assam in pursuance of Advertisement issued on 06-10-2023.
d) The result of the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) of the 164 posts of Constable (AB) for Assam Commando Battalions will be uploaded at 5 P.M. of 27-03-2025 at SLPRB website. The Psychometric Test for the eligible Candidates will be held w.e.f. 07-04-2025 at 4th Assam Police Battalion, Kahilipara, Guwahat-781019.
Eligible Candidates will be able to download their Admit Cards for Psychometric Test by logging in to the SLPRB website from 11 AM of 02-04-2025.
