Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Assam has invited for the recruitment 2685 Grade III and Grade-IV posts in different Medical College and Hospitals as well as Dental College, Nursing College, Paramedical Institutes. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online here starting from 9th December 2024 to 18th December 2024.
Candidates who had already applied for various Grade-III (Technical) posts vide advertisement No.DME/Recruitment/23/2023/20331, Dated: 01/02/2023 and No. DME/Recruitment/23/2023/2295, Dated: 17/08/2024 need not apply again.

3. Grade-IV
No of Posts: 657 Posts
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed class 8th from a recognized institute.
Maximum Qualification: Maximum eligibility qualification shall be HSSLC (Class 12th) or equivalent examination passed and those who have an educational qualification higher than this maximum eligibility educational qualification on the date of application shall not be eligible to apply for these posts.
Pay Scale: Rs.12,000/- to Rs.52,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs.3,900/-
Eligibility Criteria of DME Assam Recruitment:
Age Limit: The candidate’s age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as of 1st January 2024.
Age Relaxation: Category-wise upper age limit relaxation is as mentioned below:
● OBC/MOBC: 3 years
● ST/SC: 5 years
● PwD: 10 years
Reservation: Reservation of posts for female candidates will be as per prevailing government rules.
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens.
