All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Guwahati has invited application for the recruitment of 129 Senior Resident (Non-Academic)/ Senior Demonstrator posts on tenure basis for a period of 03 (three) years (Tenure post on contract for maximum period of 3 years as per Central Residency Scheme), in various Departments of AIIMS, Guwahati, Assam. Pay Scale:
Medical Candidates: As per 7th CPC, Pay Level-11 of Pay Matrix with the entry pay of Rs. 67,700/- plus NPA and other Allowances.
Non-Medical Candidates (M.Sc with Ph.D): Rs. 56,100 in Level-10 under 7th CPC plus Other Allowances.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
For Medical Candidates:
A Post Graduation Medical Degree (MD/MS/DNB) or Equivalent in relevant discipline from recognized University/ Institute as under the Residency Scheme. All the terms and conditions of the Scheme will be applicable.
Non-Medical Candidates (M.Sc with Ph.D): Rs. 56,100 in Level-10 under 7th CPC plus Other Allowances.
Educational Qualification & Experience:
For Medical Candidates:

Physiology: M.Sc., PhD (Medical Physiology / Physiology)
Biochemistry: M.Sc., PhD (Medical Biochemistry / Biochemistry)
Microbiology: M.Sc., PhD (Medical Microbiology / Microbiology)
Pharmacology: M.Sc., PhD (Medical Microbiology / Microbiology)
Other Criteria of AIIMS Guwahati Recruitment
Age Limit: Candidates' age must not exceed 45 (Forty-five) years as on the closing date of Online applications.
Age Relaxation: The category wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwD (Unreserved): 10 years
