1. Sr. Officer (F&S)

No of posts: 02 posts (OBC-NCL 01; UR-01)

Pay: ₹ 60,000 – 1,80,000

Age Limit: 30 years

Educational Qualification:

a) B.E/ B.Tech in Fire/ Fire & Safety Engineering with minimum 65% Marks in aggregate from any AICTE approved College/ University
OR
b) BE/B.Tech in any branch of Engineering + M.Tech in Industrial Safety with minimum 65% Marks in aggregate from any AICTE approved College/ University

Experience: Minimum 05 (five) years post qualification experience in Oil & Gas sector (including experience as GET/ET/MT) in Fire and Safety discipline as an employee of that Organisation.

2. Officer (F&S)

No of posts: 02 posts (OBC-NCL 01; UR-01)

Pay: ₹ 50,000 – 1,60,000

Age Limit: 27 years

Educational Qualification:

a) B.E/ B.Tech in Fire/ Fire & Safety Engineering with minimum 65% Marks in aggregate from any AICTE approved College/ University
OR
b) BE/B.Tech in any branch of Engineering + M.Tech in Industrial Safety with minimum 65% Marks in aggregate from any AICTE approved College/University.

Experience: Minimum 01 (one) year post qualification experience in Oil & Gas sector (including experience as GET/ET/MT) in Fire and Safety discipline as an employee of that Organisation.

Other Criteria of NRL Recruitment


Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th passed with Boiler Attendance Competency Certificate from Competent Authority, Govt. of Assam .

Age Limit: Upper age limit 32 years as on 1st January, 2023. 

Employment Exchange Registration: Candidate(s) must produce Employment Exchange Registration Card issued by an Employment Exchange of Assam only. Certificate issued from other States will not be considered.

Selection Process of NRL Recruitment


Credentials of candidates registering online for the Walk-in Interview will be scrutinized by NRL and eligible candidates will be notified to report at the Walk-in venue for the Selection process. Candidates will have to produce all the requisite documents (original and copies) for face-to-face verification and scrutiny at the venue also on the date of Walk-in. Candidates clearing the face-to-face verification and scrutiny process, will be allowed to attend the Selection process.

The Selection Process shall involve a combination of Personal Interview and Physical Endurance Test (PET).

The following Physical Endurance Test (PET) shall be part of the selection process:

• Load carrying
• Hose laying
• Push ups
• Breath Holding

Scoring model:

Interview: 85% weightage
PET : 15 % Weightage
Total : Combined score of Interview and PET ie. 85% + 15%= 100%.

Qualifying marks would be 50% in Interview and PET individually ie. candidates will have to qualify in both stages separately to be eligible for Selection.
